1:1 & 2:1 Sessions Wahroonga Studio or Online

I am here to help you explore your movement potential through Pilates.

Empowering and educating along the journey to becoming a stronger and more resilient human.

Our bodies are amazing, and continue to support us with, or even despite of, the environment we create for them each and every day.

It took a long time to build the body you are living in, and so, we accept ourselves for where we are, honour what we need in each moment, and enjoy the experience of building a more supportive environment for ourselves to live, no, thrive in.

Some thoughts…

Do I need an Initial Assessment?

During our first session we will discuss your needs, movement and any pain/injury history and goals you have AND you will be moving. How you use your body tells quite a story and we want to get to know the characters a little before throwing in a plot twist.

If recovering from an injury/surgery, working with other health professionals or returning postpartum please ensure you have clearance to exercise and I am more than happy to communicate with your allied health providers.

What if I have never done Pilates before?

Brilliant that you are here! We begin where ever we need to begin and teach you what you need along the way.

What will we DO in a session?

Essentially you will move yourself in as many directions as possible using your own body and apparatus for challenge and/or support depending on what your body needs. Want more flexion, extension, rotation, range of motion, balance, strength, coordination, body awareness or to just feel kinda awesome in achieving a movement - we can find a way to do this.

Can Pilates help my other activities?

Absolutely! Developing your Pilates practice is like really getting to know your best friend who in turn helps you really get to know yourself. Everything just gets a little easier with the constant support of Pilates cheering us on.

Why a 1:1?

How often do you allow time to focus just on your own needs? Let all other responsibilities and social judgements go and be here for yourself.

But, I would love for my “insert a fav human here” to come?

2:1 sessions are here for you. There is only 1 of each apparatus so sharing is caring. Each of you will work through what you need in the session but you can express the joy and banter as you do so.

What about my child?

Ages 16 and over are welcome. In fact teens are encouraged to build a healthy connection to their body and movement setting themselves up with tools for greater resiliency. Why not book a 2:1 to share experiencing growth together?

I want more than one session a week but do not see the availability?

Keep enjoying a wide variety of movement opportunities in your week, such as walking, strength training, team sports and yes, other Pilates studios.

And, watch this space for further opportunities to come in 2024.

Our sessions will draw from Studio Apparatus available at Wahroonga

Mat, Reformer, Chairs, Barrels, and a variety of small apparatus…..

….no idea what that means? There are a variety of apparatus each designed to support and/or challenge movement in various ways, sessions will include apparatus depending on what you need

EXCITING NEWS for 2024 - a Cadillac is on its way

Online sessions will use what ever you have available; nothing fancier than a comfortable enough place to lay down is required and enough surrounding space to sit, stand and swing your limbs around.

Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (10537NAT), Diploma of Clinical Pilates (10771NAT).

My own exploration of Pilates commenced in 2010, adding teacher trainings, then commencing working with clients from 2018. My teaching career began as a member of the Movement Collective Studios team, including expanding into being the Pymble Studio Manager in 2022. Continuing education is my jam and I enjoy learning from Pilates and Movement specialists of all backgrounds. Building strong feet, playing with balance and having the ability to hold myself in a handstand, all delight me.
